Saint Patrick's Breastplate
I've always loved anything related to Ireland. I grew up watching Riverdance (and seeing them a few weeks ago confirmed that I did, in fact, miss my calling to be an Irish dancer). A trip to Ireland only deepened my admiration and fascination with the Emerald Isle, especially after reading "How the Irish Saved Civilization." And I'm not embarrassed to say that I listen to Irish music on the regular. I do my best house cleaning to Irish sea shanties and drinking songs. But whi

Candy Corn Cornucopias
I saw this idea on Pinterest, but with waffle cones that had been molded at the end to look more like a cornucopia. I was going to give it a go, but then I found these cardboard tree cones at Hobby Lobby and they looked like a lot less effort. We added candy corn and candy pumpkins, but you could add any sort of trail mix. I cut up plastic wrap into small squares, covered the opening of the cornucopia, and attached with some of my daughter's small clear hair elastics. I added

Children are delighted by the small things. They have no concern for social status or fear of what others may think. They are curious, messy, and full of wonder. And I want to become more like them (Matthew 18:3).
From planning custom parties for children, to finding whimsical ways to mark the seasons and make memories with my own family, my calling to create and connect has remained the same. It is my hope that this blog provides inspiration for your own celebrations and creations, and also awakens a piece of your childlike heart that may have been long forgotten. I’m so honored that you’re here.
Thank you for following along!
